Authorities in Massachusetts are working to establish the identity of an individual discovered in the water near the Encore Boston Harbor casino over the weekend.
The body will probably receive an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
Casino security personnel found the individual at approximately 11 a.m. Saturday, as reported by Massachusetts television station WCVB. They swiftly notified officers from the Everett Police Department, who began an investigation. The inquiry received assistance from the Everett Fire Department and Massachusetts State Police.
There’s no information on how long the body had been in the water prior to being recovered, and it’s unclear if the individual possessed any identification when found.
Officials are attempting to identify an individual who plummeted to his demise from the third floor of Harveys Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino in Stateline, Nev. on Saturday.
The Tahoe Daily Tribune reported that the victim was Hispanic and aged between 30 and 40 years old. It was thought that he reached the casino after traveling by bus from Los Angeles.
The man collapsed at roughly 2:45 p.m. The deceased is expected to have an autopsy performed to verify his identity and establish the cause and manner of death.
The local sheriff's office will examine fingerprints and DNA.

Law enforcement successfully captured the individuals identified as Dillon Winchester, Shawn Gravette, and Paige Sancho.
The trio was apprehended on charges of aggravated robbery and subsequently processed at the Grayson County Jail. If found guilty of the charges, they might face incarceration.
Authorities stated that a fourth suspect remains at large.
